In 2007, a parliamentary act created the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU), a central university. It is a leading institution dedicated to the educational advancement of tribal groups in India, and it is situated in Amarkantak, Madhya Pradesh. The Central Government provides all of the university's funding, and the University Grants Commission (UGC) has approved it.
In addition to encouraging inclusive academic advancement across a range of subjects, it seeks to give indigenous populations access to higher education and research possibilities.

A: CUET is the way to get into UG/PG programs, while RET plus an interview is the way to get into a PhD program. There are academic thresholds, however there are also relaxations for people in reserved categories.
